To be fair if this was solely based on the doctor it would be 5 stars. I have been taking my daughter here since she was 2. My other daughter since she was 3 also goes there. The doctor we see there is amazing with kids and has dramatically improved my oldest child's quality of life by getting her a good diagnosis and proper prescription. Wouldn't trust anyone else with their exams. However, this is one of the few doctors offices that claims my insurance will not pay for the frames they like. That's fine I was willing to pay the upgrade charge from what ours would cover. They would not let me pay the difference. I have never heard such a thing. The frames we got (the whole selection of 8 they had that my insurance supposedly covered) we cheap and ugly and constantly broke! I had to get their prescription filled else where and there was no problem with me paying the difference for frames that were more durable and nicer looking. I highly recommend them for pediatric eye care but highly encourage you to go elsewhere for frame purchases.
These people are lazy idiots, who act like your healthcare needs are bothersome to them. I am honestly glad that I didn't go blind!
We absolutely love Dr Bechtel! He is very thorough and explains things in simple terms for us to better understand. He is very good with kids. My daughter is normally very shy and she loved him.
Dr. Bechtel is amazing! He is very kid friendly. Rachel, who took pics of the back of my son's eyes, was super friendly, quick, and skilled at what she does.
I love Dr. Bechtel! I have had appointments with him since I was young and he has always been great, especially when it comes to explaining everything to children.
