Everyone was so friendly and the driver's test examiner made me feel confident in my abilities to pass the test. Definitely the best place to go for a driver's license in central PA.

An experience at a DMV is usually always miserable and long. At Altoona, all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they had excellent service. The wait time was no longer than five minutes and the experience was quick and easy. The PennDOT in Altoona made the process of getting my permit and licence wonderful and rather memorable.
Despite the reputation for DMVs having long lines and waiting periods...I have never waited long here. Friendly staff.
