The shoe stores in the mall are pretty much staffed by minimum wage teens who just want you to buy your shoes and get out. This place was the total opposite experience. The employee who helped me seemed to know exactly what he was doing and he was nice, helpful, and professional. Next time I need shoes I'll stop here first. I'm docking one star because I was told that there was one year warranty on the shoes, which when I went back they said that they offer nothing like that and wouldn't honor it. It's not too big of a deal since it's a small defect inside the shoe, but I was somewhat annoyed.
Rip off alert. Do not buy shoes here. They mark up all the shoes HIGHER THAN MSRP and their purpose is to sell you their orthotic for $70 (which is MSRP of $65). Awful business model that prays on the uninformed shoe buyer. Do not not fall for their lies and do not support this business.
I LOVE shopping at this store and have for probably 25+ years. Staff always very friendly, knows their shoes and their business, helpful but not overbearing. They mail stuff for you even to your friend in another city. Beautifully refurbished. Offers everything in comfortable and athletic shoes.
I want to thank Lisa and Todd for everything tonight.. Do you ever have one of those days that nothing is going right. Well that was my day and the boots I ordered 2 weeks ago were wrong and they took the time to help me with this problem so that my feet don't or won't hurt.. thank you for caring not too many business care that much about customers. The GM of the store helped myself along with about three other people at the same time today without missing a beat. He suggested a great pair of Red Wings boots for an upcoming trip to Iceland. Excellent prices and amazing service. I don't remember having someone assist in picking out and sizing shoes properly since I was a child. Highly reccommend! Will definitely visit again.
